KNIGHT FRANK RUSSIA HEADQUARTERS
2018 Moscow, 1350 м2
Knight Frank’s Russian office has relocated to a new workspace on the 12th floor of the Mercury Tower in Moscow-City. The move reflects the company’s shift toward an agile workplace model and its aim to improve the quality and flexibility of employee environments.
A continuous volumetric element with a lowered slatted ceiling runs along the building’s central core, concealing low-level service lines and integrating numerous fire doors. This zone also houses lockers, storage, and soft seating. In the main workspace, exposed services painted to match the ceiling reinforce the clean, functional aesthetic.
The panoramic views of Moscow became the main driver of the spatial concept. The layout minimizes visual barriers, placing all workstations along the glazing and organizing the office around a central glass core with meeting rooms, collaborative zones, and support spaces. Hot-desking is introduced across several departments, allowing staff to select work areas depending on activity — from open desks to phone booths and informal lounges.
The interior is designed as a restrained, contemporary environment defined by light walls, dark ceilings, and steel-framed glass partitions. The reception incorporates the company’s signature red, while the client area uses premium materials such as wood, marble, and engineered stone to reflect the firm’s status.
Design and construction were carried out in parallel, allowing the team to complete the project in just four months.
